What is NAELA?

The National Association of Elder Law Attorneys, or “NAELA” as its commonly known, is a group of attorneys dedicated to serving the needs of the aged and those with special needs.  NAELA attorneys have experience in all aspects of elderlaw and special needs planning, including helping to plan for incapacity and long-term care through the development of elderlaw-specific estate planning documents and helping to navigate the complex world of Medicaid and other programs designed to help and protect seniors and their families.

NAELA is a national organization that was established in 1987.  NAELA members have access to resources and the experience of members from across the United States, Canada, Australia and the UK.  Through its local chapters, such as Wisconsin NAELA, members are able to tap into the vast network of resources available to them to provide timely advice to families who require long-term care planning.
